Love My Peeps

Ink To Paper

February 13, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and my girl is coming home for the weekend!! Yeah!! She has Monday off from school and we were able to get her a quick flight home. It will definitely be a great weekend, and I am so thankful to have her home for a few days. Now I know it is Valentine's Day, but I am stopping by today to share an Easter card with you all. Have you been following the New Release at Ink to Paper? I am loving so many things! I was sent the Love My Peeps Stamp Set to use, and let me just say I love it! This is such a fun set and the little peeps are adorable!

I started my card by stamping the Peeps in Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise and Hawaiian Shore ink. Aren't they the cutest? I then used Green Parakeet ink to stamp the egg shell. I did all of my stamping with my MISTI and the peeps were very easy to line up. Next, I used the Love My Peeps coordinating dies to die cut my images.

For my card design, I used the Round Off Edger dies and die cut my white card panel. I then stamped my sentiment from the Love My Peeps Stamp Set directly onto my card panel. I used the scalloped edge die from the Round Off Edger Die Set and cut a piece of Green Parakeet cardstock. I attached this to my card panel and then added a piece of patterned paper to create my card front.

These little peeps just make me smile! I think they would make some cute packaging for actual peeps. I might have to give that a try next...
Enjoy your day,
Dana

  1. Dana, I absolutely adore this card, and that plaid paper is to die for. Of course, you coordinated your “peeps” with the plaid. I’ve got to order this set because it’s so dang cute. I don’t always send Easter cards, but I will this year because it falls on my birthday.

    1. Thank you so much! The plaid paper is an older Easter line from Echo Park Paper Company. They release a super cut Easter line every year. You can also try DoodleBug Paper Company. They always have great Easter and Spring lines with fun prints and plaids. Let me know if you have any other questions.
