Love You!

Trinity Stamps

February 3, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I got home yesterday from spending a few days at the Whatever Craft House in Kansas. It was so much fun to meet some crafty friends and spend a few days hanging out and being creative!

Today I am on the Trinity Stamps Blog sharing a Valentine's Day card. While my card works great for Valentine's Day, I also think it would be appropriate for anytime...it is always a good idea to let someone know you love them, right?

I started my card by using the Heartburst 2 Piece Layering Stencil. I  laid the first stencil onto my Bristol smooth cardstock and applied Distress Oxide Ink directly onto my card panel with a Blending Buddy Brush. Ink Colors Used: Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet.

Next, I took the second stencil and lined it up onto my card panel. I then ink blended the second set of hearts directly onto my card panel. This time I allowed the colors to overlap and blend a little. These stencils have an etching of their partner stencil on them, so they are very easy to use and line up.

To finish my card, I used the Love You dies from the Slimline Card Series: Frame and Fold Die Set. I die cut the shadow from black cardstock and then die cut the love you sentiment from white cardstock. I attached the two pieces together and added them to my card front with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my card, and I will be back soon to share another project with you.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
