Pretty Pink Posh

New Release Blog Hop

Hi Friends and welcome to day 3 of the New Release Blog Hop for Pretty Pink Posh! I hope you all are loving all of the new products and inspiration that is being shared. It is such a fun release with so many wonderful new products!

I have two cards to share today that use the new 4th of July Set. Last summer we did not really get to celebrate the 4th of July in our "traditional" way due to Covid. I am hoping that with the vaccine and the numbers going down we can once again have a fun celebration! If nothing else I will for sure get some patriotic cards in the mail with this new set!

For both of my cards I began by stamping all of my images with the new 4th of July SetAlthough this is a smaller set it is packed full of fun images that are perfect for the 4th of July. Once my images were stamped I colored them with Copic markers. I then used the 4th of July Dies to die cut all of my images.

For my card layout I used the Storybook 2 Die. I thought this die worked well for my card layout and it helped to create a clean and simple background for my images.

For my next card I began by creating my background. I used the new Layered Star Stencil and white pigment ink. I then added clear embossing powder to my panel to seal the pigment ink and to give it a little extra shine. Although this is a two part stencil I only used one of the stencils to create my background.

Next, I used the die from the Spring Circles Die Set to create my white tag. I then layered all of my images onto my card with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and I can't wait to share the rest of my projects with you. Now for the Blog Hop details:
