Keep Swimming
Ink To Paper
April 17, 2020
Hi Friends! Have you seen the Challenge at Ink To Paper for Project Reach Out? The challenge for this week is called Keep Swimming. You have until April 22nd to enter, so I thought I provide you with a little inspiration in hopes that you will play along. You also have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate just for entering! So pull out some ocean or water themed stamps and play along with us.
I started my cards by creating my backgrounds and ocean reefs. I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in a variety of colors to create my backgrounds. I then ink blended similar colors onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and used the Reef Builder Dies to create my ocean plants.
Next, I used the Salt Air: Fauna Set to do all of my stamping.
I attached my stamped images to my card fronts with foam adhesive. Then, I used the Salt Air Sentiments Mini Stamp Set to stamp my sentiments.
To finish my cards, I added a few clear sequins to resemble bubbles in the water.
Thanks for joining me today. I have had these ocean sets since they were first released, so it was fun to pull them out and use them again. I hope you have a chance to play along with the challenge. Remember, you have until April 22nd to enter! Good Luck!!
