Good Morning! I hope you all are doing well and are finding something to keep yourself busy. Somedays I feel like I am going to go crazy! Are you feeling that way? Or is it just me? I am thankful that I have a hobby that I enjoy, but somedays it is hard to find the motivation to create. Okay...no more complaining. We are safe and healthy, and I am so very Thankful for that. I hope you all are staying healthy and safe too.
While I am home, I am going through some of my older supplies and pulling them out to use again. So that is what I have for you today. I made a card set with an older Taylored Expressions die called Folksy Flowers. I fell in love with this die when it was released, so it was definitely time to use it again.
I started my cards by doing all of my die cutting. I then made little piles of all the small pieces. While I was watching a video, I sat and inlaid all of the pieces back into the die cut. I find this very relaxing.
Here are the finished panels:
For my sentiments, I used the Drop A Note Stamp Set. This set has some great sentiments. I thought the Sending You A Big Hug sentiment would be perfect to use right now. Originally, I was going to use white embossing powder for my sentiments...but I ended up making a mistake when I was stamping (the stamp was upside down) AAH! So I solved that problem by stamping on a white strip of cardstock and attaching it to my card front. I ended up liking the pop of white, so I ended up doing that for all of the cards.
Thanks for joining me today. I will be getting these card in the mail this week...hopefully they will bring a smile to someone's face.
Take care and Enjoy Your Day,
